Tulsa: Larry Clarke
Larry Clarke Tulsa is based around his childhood friends and their addictions to amphetamine, sex and guns. His work is very controversial as it shows the hardships of addictions from all perspectives, all the fun, sad, and anger filled moments. He shows his own personal struggles by adding himself into his images as well as focusing on the people around him.
When looking through Larry Clarkes photo book 'Tulsa' i camera across the pages below. As i am using a film camera, i have decided i will be scanning the film with a photo copier. i will then be printing the scanned images onto acetate as I feel it will look better than just being printed onto plain white paper.I will also be adding frames to these acetate prints aswell, so they can be hung on walls.
